How to install the HDPE Geomembranes?
Site Preparation:
Clear and grade the area where the geomembrane will be installed. Remove any sharp objects or debris that could damage the liner.
Liner Deployment:
Unroll the HDPE geomembrane over the prepared surface. Ensure that it is properly aligned and free of wrinkles.
Seaming and Welding:
Use thermal fusion or extrusion welding techniques to join adjacent sheets of geomembrane. This ensures a continuous and impermeable barrier.
Anchoring and Ballasting:
Secure the edges of the geomembrane with anchor trenches or weights to prevent movement and uplift due to wind or water pressure.
Inspection and Testing:
Perform thorough inspections and tests to ensure that seams and welds are properly executed and that there are no leaks or defects.
